Factory catalogue data and third-party tuning references are informational. Power units and measurement conditions matter: PS and mechanical HP are different. Published results are not a guarantee for a particular vehicle.
Exact vehicle identification
A catalogue year is a model year, not proof of manufacture date. Engine, ECU, market and build-month differences must be checked. Tool-list inclusion does not establish FHP service availability.
Road and competition use
Only commission work appropriate for the vehicle’s lawful intended use. Road-use, emissions, inspection and insurance requirements vary. A competition label does not make a modification lawful for road use.
Condition and supporting hardware
Faults, poor maintenance, unsuitable fuel or incompatible hardware may make tuning inappropriate. Stage 2 and Stage 3+ work must follow an agreed hardware and fuel specification.
BMW unlock
The advertised fee is based on manufacture year and does not guarantee unlock eligibility or a particular unlock method. ECU build date, identification and software version must be checked.
